A boat day from your resort at a glance
- Can you book from any resort? Yes. No charter is tied to a hotel, so any guest can book any boat.
- How to get there: a free shuttle on two boats, a beach pickup on the Adventure Boats, or a short taxi to the marina.
- How long: a three or four-hour half day fits between breakfast and dinner, and a full day is the whole adventure.
- What’s included: snorkel gear and life jackets on every boat, drinks and snacks on most and a full lunch on several.
- Best for: a day away from the pool with your own captain and crew.
Trade the pool for a sandbar
Best for: anyone who has done the resort beach and wants more

Every charter we list is private: one group, one boat, one captain and crew, and none is tied to a hotel. You book it the same way from a resort as from a villa: choose the boat, the date and the length, see the all-in price for your party and pay a deposit to secure it. Then the day is yours: a sandbar, a reef, the iguanas or a floating bar.
Can I book a private boat charter if I’m staying at an all-inclusive resort?
Yes. Any guest can book any boat, and the meal you’d miss at the resort is easy to replace: several boats serve a full lunch, and every charter welcomes your own food and drinks.

Let the boat come to you
Best for: no driving and no parking

Two boats run a free shuttle: the 26ft Regal and the 22ft Sports Cruiser collect you from central Grace Bay and Long Bay resorts 15 to 30 minutes before the start. The Adventure Boat and the Adventure Boat XL arrange round-trip transport from the Grace Bay area for $20 a person, and at select Grace Bay resorts they can pick you up right from the beach, weather permitting.
Will the boat pick us up at our resort?
Some will. Beyond the shuttles, many boats can collect you from your beach for an extra fee that depends on where you’re staying, arranged after you book and always depending on the sea. Otherwise a taxi to the marina is easy. Our getting to your charter guide has every meeting point.

Pick a morning or an afternoon
Best for: fitting the day around your stay

Half days run on set departures, morning and afternoon. A morning trip has you back around lunchtime with the whole afternoon for the pool, and an afternoon trip lets you sleep in and ride home in the softer light. The catamarans shift their times with the seasons, and each listing shows its own departures when you pick a date.
How long is a half-day boat charter?
Four hours on most boats, long enough for a snorkel, a sandbar and one more stop. The 26ft Regal and the 22ft Sports Cruiser also run three-hour charters, the shortest boat day with a free shuttle from Grace Bay.

Have lunch at sea
Best for: a real meal instead of the buffet

Several boats serve a full lunch on every option. On the 35ft Luxury Yacht and the 44ft Luxury Catamaran Yacht it’s glazed ribs, chicken wings, rice, mac and cheese and salad, and on the 51ft and 62ft yachts and the 51ft Ultra Lux Powercat you choose your main courses from a full menu before the day. Most other boats carry fruit, snacks or sandwiches, and several add a beach BBQ on the full day.
Can we bring our own food and drinks on a charter?
Yes, on every charter. The 65ft and 70ft sailing boats ask for no glass on board. Our what to bring guide has the full packing list.

Not a boat person? Tours collect you too
Best for: a shorter adventure from Grace Bay

Our group jet ski tours, clear kayak tours and group excursions run a round-trip shuttle from the Grace Bay area for $20 a person, paid on the day, and the ATV tours include a free shuttle from Grace Bay and Lower Bight. A two-hour jet ski tour or a clear kayak through the mangroves fits easily between breakfast and the pool.
How do I get from my resort to a tour in Turks and Caicos?
Book the tour, tell us where you’re staying, and the shuttle is arranged after booking. The jet ski, kayak and group tours meet in Leeward, at the east end of the island.
